Job Description Job Description This opportunity is a customer service and sales position within a successful STATE FARM Agency. The agency is a dynamic organization backed by many years of industry experience. It is a vital role for the agency, as it involves both the acquisition (proactive & reactive) of new business and the effective servicing of existing policies and households. Candidates who meet the following criteria will be strongly considered for this role: 1. Active Property, Casualty, life insurance license preferable. 2. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in 1941 Oak tree rd., Edison, NJ. This is an in-office position. Requirements Ability to obtain Property, Casualty, life insurance license. Typical completion takes 4 weeks. Courses are paid for and you receive your salary while training. Insurance or financial services sales experience preferred A genuine care and concern for people and their insurance needs The ability to multi-task while utilizing a tech-savvy approach to sales and service The ability to work within a team concept in a fun, fast-paced office environment Must be able to persevere through difficult client interactions Responsibilities include but are not limited to Servicing of existing customers/households Engaging in proactive policy retention strategies Quoting and preparation of insurance proposals Setting and conducting Insurance and Financial Reviews (IFR's) Being personally responsible for hitting team and individual sales goals Assisting the agent with various research and follow-up tasks As an Agency Team Member, you will receive Competitive base salary Highly competitive commission structure Bonus possible based on performance Defined track to agency ownership - agent aspirant program Profit sharing plan Team events PTO and sick days If you feel you would be a good fit for this position, please submit your resume.
