is dedicated to providing high-quality services to individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking an
OPWDD Training Specialist to coordinate and deliver training
programs that ensure staff compliance with OPWDD requirements while
fostering professional development.Position Summary:The OPWDD
Training Specialist is responsible for delivering required training
curricula, managing new employee orientation, tracking training
compliance, and developing educational materials. This role ensures
all employees receive the necessary training to meet regulatory
standards and enhance service quality.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct OPWDD-mandated training sessions, including new hire
and annual compliance training.
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation to ensure a
strong onboarding experience.
- Maintain training records and track compliance to meet
regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update training curricula based on OPWDD guidelines
and agency needs.
- Prepare training reports and support audits related to staff
training compliance.
- Collaborate with program leadership to identify training needs
and improve staff competency.QualificationsQualifications:
- Experience in staff training, curriculum development, or
compliance within a human services setting.
- Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations and required training
programs.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and organizational
skills.
- Proficiency in training management systems and documentation
tracking.
- Ability to adapt training methods to meet diverse learning
needs.
- BA/BS Degree in a related setting preferred but not
required.
- Experience with Paycom software preferred but not
required.
- Training experience required.Work Schedule & Location:
- Reports to: Total Quality Management Coordinator
- Environment: Office-based and onsite training sessions
- Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate training
