AMI is seeking a Part time, 18 hour per week CT Technologist for the Toms River Route 37 West office location. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.The responsibilities of the CT Technologist include, but are not limited to:Perform all computerized axial tomography examinations per departmental policies, as scheduled and upon demand;Perform additional functions including image reconstruction, archiving, filming and other software functions as directed by the Radiologist or as per standard departmental policy; andAny other duties as assigned.This Part time, 18 hour per week position will provide coverage in the AMI Toms River Route 37 West office location. The schedule includes Friday 8am-6:30pm and Saturday 7:30am-4pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.Qualified candidates for this position must be a graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program with current NJ license; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and must be CT ARRT Board Certified. Knowledge of and proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy is required. A current & valid CPR/BLS certification is required (must include hands-on instruction) and candidates must be willing to obtain prior to start of employment. Previous experience or certification in venipuncture preferred for the injection of contrast media via butterfly needle and IV catheter. If not currently trained/certified must be willing to obtain. In-house training will be provided.EOE
