We are proud to have been named one of the "Best Companies to Work For" year after year and have recently been awarded Employer of Choice by Best Companies Group!This is a great opportunity for New Grads as well as seasoned therapists.At Good Samaritan Hospital you can expect to work with an energetic outpatient team that works closely together to in order to treat not only typical orthopedic PT, but also a myriad of specialty PT types (lymphedema, oncology, pediatrics, LSVT, vestibular, concussion, pelvic floor, etc.) to improve our patient's quality of life. We have access to all hospital-system MD notes and imaging studies, and the ability to communicate with referring MDs through our EMR system. Patients are typically seen on a 2 patient/hour model (this varies with specialties) to allow more time for patient care. Therapists are not responsible for scheduling or insurance authorizations.This role is for someone interested in both orthopedic PT and pelvic floor PT, and ideally would grow into a full-time pelvic floor PT position. Our goal is to continue growing out women's health and pelvic health department, and we are looking for someone who wants to treat this population. We have a room dedicated to pelvic floor treatments, as well as biofeedback and electric stimulation modalities. Pelvic floor treatments are generally treated with a 1 patient/hour, and orthopedic treatments are done with 2 patients/hour model with some overlap. Evaluations are always done with 1 patient/hour one-on-one.
