Job Description Job Description Position Purpose Responsible for assembling various components and parts according to detailed documented instructions. Essential Duties and responsibilities Trim, drill and/or de-flash components using hand tools, power tools and specialized machinery and specific to the part/process fixtures. Perform regular quality checks and visual inspections to identify and report defects and inconsistencies, adhering to quality standards. Follow all Vaupell policies and procedures. Ensure proper housekeeping by clearing and cleaning workspace. Complete all paperwork pertaining to production neatly and correctly following all quality standards. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience, training and education Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English. Attention to detail. Capable of using various hand and power tools Comprehension of basic math, including fractions, decimals, averages and percentages Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment Teamwork and Collaboration Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations) Environmental Condition While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
