Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing
in school-based therapy to support students during the Extended
School Year (ESY) program. This role is onsite at a regional day
school located in Jackson, New Jersey, serving students from
pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Responsibilities: - Provide
occupational therapy services to students enrolled in the ESY
program, focusing on individualized interventions to support their
educational performance. - Collaborate with educators, therapists,
and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans. -
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
consistent with district and state guidelines. - Work Monday
through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM between July 1st and
August 12th, with the school closed on July 6th. - Ensure all
therapy sessions are conducted onsite to facilitate direct
interaction with students and staff. Qualifications: - Valid
Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based
settings. - Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and
education-related accommodations. - Ability to work effectively
with a diverse student population, from PK to 12th grade. -
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with
multidisciplinary teams. Location: Jackson, New Jersey (Regional
Day School) This contract position offers a focused role supporting
students during the summer ESY program, providing valuable services
