Description Atlantic Health System is seeking a PER DIEM Radiographer for the Operating Room at Overlook Medical Center to work varied shifts including weekends as necessary. Essential Functions: Looking for a candidate who is a team player to assist in the not just radiology tasks but also to assist in the efficiency of the operating room. A Health care professional who operates diagnostic mobile technological equipment to examine patients undergoing surgical procedures. Able to collaborate with team members and physicians to perform appropriate techniques. Ensures compliance with established safety regulations and procedures when operating radiation equipment to prevent ill-exposure to ionizing radiation. Some of the qualities needed to be effective on the job include attention to details, IT skills, and teamwork ability. Recording and storing of patients’ examination results, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Act and Patient Confidentiality codes Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently Qualifications Education: Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology Program High School Diploma/ GED Required Qualifications/Requirements: NJ State License required. ARRT Certification and current active registration required. Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support(BLS)/CPR Two (2) years of general diagnostic radiologic experience in the Operating Room preferred.
