Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Patient Care Tech - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 37.5 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Position Details: - Position: Patient Care Technician (PCT) – ER - Facility: BronxCare Hospital Center – Grand Concourse Campus - Work Location: 1650 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10457-7679 - Unit: ER PCT | B08026 - Care Setting: Acute Care – Emergency Room - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 Weeks - Shift: Nights – 5 x 8.5-hour shifts (1-hour lunch) - Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Positions Available: 4 - Charting System: Allscripts Unit & Facility Highlights: - Trauma Level II (Stroke & STEMI Certified) - 65 ER Bays divided into zones (A–E) - 10 Fast Track Chairs - Approx. 118,000 ER visits per year - Separate triage area (3–4 RNs) – triage experience required - 24/7 in-house security - Adults & Pediatric patient population - Common cases: DM, Asthma, Respiratory Issues, COVID, Chest Pain, STEMI, CVA, Trauma, Psych, etc. Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience - Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) via NHA – Required - BLS (AHA) – Required - Active license required at time of submission - Must be flexible to work any schedule based on department needs - Weekends mandatory (Typically EOW) Additional Notes: - No call or standby requirement - No floating requirement K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
