for an experienced Cardiologist to serve as System Medical Director
of Cardiac Imaging Integration within a nationally recognized Heart
& Vascular Institute. This position offers a unique opportunity to
shape the future of cardiac imaging services across a large,
integrated healthcare system known for its innovation,
collaboration, and commitment to high-quality cardiovascular
care.The successful candidate will be board certified, with
extensive experience in advanced cardiac imaging, including
echocardiography, CT, MRI, and/or nuclear cardiology. This
leadership role will oversee the strategic, operational, and
clinical integration of cardiac imaging services in both inpatient
and outpatient settings.Position Summary:The System Medical
Director will lead the integration and coordination of all cardiac
imaging modalities echocardiography, nuclear, SPECT CT, PET CT,
cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI working in partnership with cardiology
and radiology teams across the system. The role will focus on
optimizing patient care, driving innovation, improving efficiency,
and ensuring consistency in imaging quality and practices.Key
Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic
plan for cardiac imaging aligned with institutional goals around
access, affordability, equity, and excellence.Coordinate imaging
services across a multi-hospital system and outpatient
settings.Promote collaboration between cardiology and radiology
teams to improve clinical workflows, patient care, and
access.Establish and maintain high clinical standards and
evidence-based practices across all cardiac imaging
modalities.Interpret complex imaging studies and provide expert
clinical consultation.Lead quality improvement initiatives and
technology advancement strategies in cardiac imaging.Foster growth
and innovation in imaging programs to enhance care delivery and
patient outcomes.Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a
patient-centered approach that integrates technology with
quality-of-life considerations.Qualifications:Board Certified in
Cardiovascular Medicine.Advanced certification in multi-modality
cardiac imaging (e.g., echocardiography, CT, MRI, nuclear).Minimum
of 10 years of clinical experience, with a proven track record in
cardiac imaging leadership.Strong communication, collaboration, and
systems thinking skills.Demonstrated success in strategic planning,
