Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 18 months of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a large 900-bed hospital in Morristown, NJ. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Radiology department in a large 900-bed acute care hospital - Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with on-call every other weekend - 37.5 hours per week - Must be comfortable performing imaging in the OR - GE imaging equipment used - Epic EMR (charting) - May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines - Maintain imaging equipment and assess safety, procedure readiness, and patient comfort - Monitor for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging workflow - Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and strong oral and written communication skills are essential - Two professional references are required for consideration /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist - Graduate of an accredited radiography program - Active NJ State RT license required (license required if applicable) - ARRT certification required - Current BLS certification - Experience with GE imaging equipment - Ability to work independently in a high-volume hospital setting - Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-677054.
