in-person services and are in network with major commercial payors

of the major commercial payors, we’re building a new standard for
modern mental health—designed to help people feel better and
function better, mind and body. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a
compassionate and experienced Medical Director to join our team.
This role is ideal for a psychiatrist passionate about delivering
high-quality, innovative and evidence-based care within a modern
mental health practice. The Medical Director will provide clinical
leadership and oversight of our multidisciplinary team, ensuring
the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and
patient-centered care. The right candidate is grounded in clinical
excellence, collaborative in their approach, and committed to
supporting both patients and providers in a dynamic care
environment. This position combines direct patient care with
supervision of clinical services, making it an exciting opportunity

thrives in a team-based model. This position can be part time and
has a minimum requirement of 3 days per week. The ideal candidate

consistent follow-through on commitments. Skills to identify and
overcome barriers to success, applying practical solutions and
process improvements to enhance clinical operations. KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical Leadership & Oversight Provide day-to-day
clinical oversight of psychiatry and psychotherapy, and collaborate
with other members of the medical leadership team to help oversee
interventional psychiatry (Spravato and launch of TMS later in the
year) and integrative health services (advanced diagnostics and
functional medicine, nutrition and acupuncture). Lead and oversee
all appropriate psychiatric and behavioral health clinical
escalations in our practice, including crisis intervention and risk
assessment, management, and referrals to higher levels of care as
needed and warranted by community standard of care and our
protocols. Collaborate with leadership to establish data-driven
clinical standards, protocols, clinical workflows and performance
objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies,
procedures, and standards of care for mental health services.
Patient Care Provide direct clinical care to patients including
psychiatric consultations and medication management, consultation
on complex cases with other members of the care team (and
interventional consultations for Spravato treatment if this is an
area of your expertise) Support complex clinical decision-making
across the care team. Team Development & Supervision Recruit,
onboard, and train clinicians, fostering professional growth and
alignment with our model of care. Provide supervision and
performance evaluations for clinical team members Facilitate team
rounds and foster an environment of continuous learning and
improvement Quality, Compliance & Reporting Oversee adherence to
community standards of care, compliance protocols, and clinical
best practices. Ensure that medical care meets established quality
assurance standards and participate in peer review processes.
Direct the collection of metrics, statistical or fiscal
information, and other data as needed to evaluate and monitor
performance of mental health clinical services and direct the
preparation of reports in conjunction with the Chief Medical
Officer. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE Board-Certified Psychiatrist
with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of
New York Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”)
license Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience including at
least three years or more of progressive leadership experience
including supervisory or leadership roles, preferably as a Medical
Director or in a similar role Proven record of clinical excellence
demonstrated in outpatient psychiatry Passion for integrative and
innovative approaches to mental health care. Strong leadership,
communication, and organizational skills. Progressive and modern in
your approach and tech and digitally savvy Startup experience
preferred: Prior experience working in a startup, early-stage
clinic, or other dynamic, evolving healthcare setting is a plus.
Experience with interventional psychiatry (e.g., ketamine, TMS,
Spravato) is a plus! Experience with mind-body psychiatry,

Individuals seeking employment at Being Health are considered

salary range for this position is $280,000-$350,000 and the exact
offer will be commensurate with qualifications and years of
