Medical Assistant Location: Fishkill, NY Agency: Pride Health Pay: $20 to $23 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility, located in Fishkill, NY 12524. This is a 3 month contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job title : Medical Assistant Location: Fishkill, NY 12524 Duration : Contract Pay: $20 - $23. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Shift : 8am - 5pm; 7:30 am - 4:30pm, 8:30 am - 5:30pm & occasional Saturdays 9-1. Note: Occasional travel to Poughkeepsie for coverage needs. Specific Duties: Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepare patients for examination Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies. Respects patient confidentiality always and treat patients with courtesy and respect. Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stock and clean rooms and sterilizes instruments. Practices standard infection control precautions Telephone and in-person screening are limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledge Provide data reporting and tracking on HEDIS Measures Process referral authorization requests for patients. Performs all other related duties as assigned Qualifications: 1 years of experience required. Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or RMA.
