exceptional patient care. In this role, you'll travel to VEG
hospital to empower Nursing Trainers, veterinary nurses, and
assistants through hands-on, high-impact training. You'll serve as
both a trainer and a mentor, partnering closely with Nursing
Trainers and hospital teams to deliver consistent, engaging, and
clinically relevant training across a wide range of emergency
medicine topics. With a strong foundation in ECC, you'll adapt your
teaching to meet learners where they are—whether coaching new
assistants, sharpening advanced nursing skills, or developing
trainers to lead with confidence. If you thrive on travel,

shape the future of emergency nursing at VEG. WHAT YOU'LL DO In
partnership with field leadership, build and execute quarterly
regional strategy for training opportunities in region As part of
the execution of regional strategy, perform high-quality and
impactful clinical training experiences including RECOVER Rescuer
certification, Anesthesia Simulation training, exotics skills
training on cadavers, and more. Build regional training champions
by delivering Train-the-Trainer programs. These programs would
support in-person education for VEG veterinary assistants and
nurses, aligned with hospital-level and VEG-wide needs. Success in
this role means creating scalable, repeatable training experiences
and confidently handing off skills-based education to in-hospital
Nursing Trainers. Coordinate with hospital Nursing leadership to
organize field-level training and identify impact post-training.
Provide Nursing Trainer mentorship, primarily supporting the
success of the Cultivate program by ensuring high standards and
clinical integrity. Provide frontline feedback, on various
programs, to Nursing Operations and Nursing Learning and
Development to drive continuous improvement in program content and
execution. Ensure and continually audit any training content and
activities, keeping alignment with VEGs culture, mission, and
vision, and represent accurate, up-to-date emergency medicine and
standards of care. WHAT YOU NEED Credentialed technician in the
state you reside, with extensive experience in emergency and
critical care nursing, including anesthesia. Graduation from an
AVMA-accredited program is preferred. Board certified Veterinary
Technician Specialist (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care,
Anesthesia/Analgesia, Internal Medicine (Small Animal), or Clinical
Practice (Exotics Companion Animal) or experience in adult
education, clinical training, or instructional program development
is strongly preferred. Willing and eager to continue to grow as a
clinical professional and trainer through developing personal
skills and knowledge to deliver a variety of training programs
Previous experience in a training role for both veterinary
assistants and credentialed veterinary technicians Ability to
coordinate training projects with multiple teams across markets.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, as determined by training
needs Ability to transport educational/simulation/equipment and
supplies as needed throughout travels (up to 50lbs) WHO YOU ARE
