We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant *to join our healthcare team at one of the top HIV/AIDS foundations in the United States. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients afflicted with HIV/AIDS in the NJ/NY area.

Compensation for this role is *$20-$24/hour* and offers a part-time schedule of *Monday-Thursday 10a-3p. *Benefits include *401k with matching, 3 weeks vacation plus 1 week off between Christmas and New Years and 14 paid holidays off!*

*Certified Medical Assistant Duties* *include:*
* ---Escort patients to exam rooms in a timely manner, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient's chart.
* Provide instructions to patients as directed by physician.
* Assist physician in exam rooms.
* Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment.
* Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilizations as required.
* Maintain an inventory of medical supplies and coordinate with the Clinic Nurse and Provider when inventory is low.
* Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
* Schedule pick up of sharp containers
* Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environments by establishing and following standards and procedures; complies with all legal regulations.

*Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications*:
* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - NJ
* *MUST *be able to perform phlebotomy
* *MUST *be bilingual in English/Spanish
* At least 2 years of experience working with patients with HIV or in a social service setting preferred, not required
