Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a public
school setting located in Pittsfield, MA. This role focuses on
providing speech and language services to students from
pre-kindergarten through 5th grade at Crosby Elementary School. The
position offers an opportunity to work with a varied caseload
within an inclusive educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for
students in pre-K to 5th grade. - Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. -
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
to support student communication goals. - Document progress and
maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies. -
Provide direct therapeutic intervention to improve students' speech
and language abilities. - Support and work alongside
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of the
treatment team. Qualifications and Experience: - Certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) preferred. - Experience working in school-based
settings is strongly desired. - Ability to manage a full caseload
across elementary grade levels. - Open to considering candidates
with SLPA support and those interested in vocations within speech
