Pay: $32 - $33 / hr Schedule: Tue - Sat; 6a - 2:30p w/ flexibility as needed Location: Holtsville, NY | Zebra Technologies What you day to day will look like: Maintenance Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. General interior maintenance – patching/painting, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, repair doors and other building envelope maintenance tasks. Assist the building maintenance operations team in the repairs of building and equipment and/or as directed. Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested. Replace overhead lighting elements and ballasts. Other tasks as assigned. Safety Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled. Practice Defensive Driving at all times. Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Administrative Update work order status in real time Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed and closing out requests. Escalating problems or issues to Client and JLL Facilities Manager in a timely manner Attend work and safety meetings as required. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair, maintenance, and basic plumbing. Strong Customer Service and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve on maintenance tasks/troubleshoot. Ability to lift to 60 pounds, work from heights, frequently climbing (ladder 30 feet), bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead. This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 66,560.00 – 68,640.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
