Position : Accountant (Must have SAP and General Ledger) Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 1 ST Shift Client: Medical Device Company Job Category: Accounting/Finance Level Of Experience: Mid-Level Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only) Job Description: Responsible for accurate and timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations, analysis of financial data to include revenue recognition according to GAAP, be able to work with capital schedules and have an understanding of proper depreciation useful life. Work with research and development team to track project expenses and development fees collected. This person must possess great attention to detail, meticulous organization skills, strong financial acumen, high aptitude for technology and financial systems and a strong desire and ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the expectations of the role consistently growing and expanding. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ finance. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in general ledger accounting (preferably, consumer products manufacturing or similar environment). 3-5 years knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Must have strong MS Excel skills, and be able to work with SAP, other financial reporting systems like BPC, Power BI and FSM are a plus. Excellent English communication skills, (both oral and written). Willingness and the flexibility to work various hours needed according to deadlines (ex. Month end) Able to travel once a week or every other week to central NJ to a new acquired business. Expected to be on site in FLKS the majority of the week.
